Perth Hackers Unite

It was a record event for a number of reasons:

  • 140 – people of participants
  • 24 – number of prizes
  • 19 – number of teams
  • 9 – number of young people competing
  • 50% – number of female participants
  • 34 – number of mentors (27 of which were government)
  • $35,000 – prize pool
  • First time a WA state government agency has supported a national prize

The office of the GCIO congratulates all the participants and local award winners, and wishes everyone the best of luck at the national awards.
