GovHack 2016

Over 100 participants from Perth and Geraldton competed in this year’s GovHack WA.

Winning projects from this year’s competition included:

  • Baby Got Hacked – a dashboard for local government services
  • Colourful Past – an app that automatically colourises historical photographs
  • Point Break – an app that uses shark data, local government and coastal information to generate active community engagement in beachside areas.

The most deserving teams from GovHack WA will now compete in the national GovHack competition. National winners will be announced in October 2016, and will compete to share in more than $100,000 in prizes.

The full list of winners and their projects is available on the GovHack website.
